I have wide research interests in fields related to Geometry, such as Computer Graphics, Visualization, Multimedia Processing, Medical Imaging, Information Forensics, and Digital Fabrication.

My current focus is to robustly discretize arbitrary shapes in various physical domains (2D planar, 3D surface, 3D volume, and 2D/3D+time), namely, Robust Meshing, providing high-quality meshes for applications in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Isogeometric Analysis (IGA), and more broadly, Computer-aided Engineering (CAE) analysis.


I am actively looking for well-motivated students interested in Computer Graphics, especially in Geometry Processing to work together at Florida State University. Email me for more details. 😄

From Aug. 12 to Aug. 16, I will be in Vancouver, Canada, attending SIGGRAPH, the premier conference in computer graphics. Welcome to the technical talks of the projects I involved: Aug 14 in the morning Mesh cleaning Up Session and Aug 15 in the afternoon Textiles Session!

From July 3rd to July 5th, I will attend the Summer School held in the University of Science and Technology of China, and give a talk on robust meshing! On July 6th, I will give a talk on stitch meshing in a workshop held by GDC at the same place! Let's meet and chat. :-)
