Hello! I am a PostDoc hosted by Daniele Panozzo at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences of New York University. I obtained my Ph.D. degree with the best dissertation award in Computer Science from University of Houston in May, 2016. My Ph.D. advisors were Zhigang Deng and Guoning Chen. I received both my M.S. (advised by Caiming Zhang) and B.S. degrees in the school of Computer Science of Shandong University.

I have wide research interests in fields related to Geometry and Topology, such as Computer Graphics, Visualization, Multimedia Processing, Medical Imaging, Information Forensics, and Digital Fabrication.

My current focus is to robustly discretize arbitrary shapes in various physical domains (2D planar, 3D surface, 3D volume, and 2D/3D+time), namely, Robust Meshing, providing high-quality meshes for applications in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Isogeometric Analysis (IGA), and more broadly, Computer-aided Engineering (CAE) analysis.
